International Student Information
Starting at University
When you arrive at Bath Spa, it will have been arranged for you to attend the International Orientation; this will take place before the majority first year students arrive, giving you the chance to get to know the campus and the city before it gets really busy.
The first few weeks will be very busy as you will be meeting new tutors and coursemates in addition to adjusting to life at University and in the UK. This can be daunting and for this reason, Student Support are here to aid you with any issues e.g:
- Disability
- Financial
- Health
- Well being
All International Students are paired with a Peer Mentor who they can choose to use at any point in their academic life; Peer Mentors are current students (both home and international) who offer support and guidance relating to social and academic life in the UK.
